The town hall in Loppersum, Groningen has been strengthened. The town hall was built 10 years ago but it is located in the middle of the earthquake zone.That is why reinforcement was necessary. Foundation improvement was applied and subsequently base-isolation (103 sliders) was placed. This makes the building resistant to earthquakes in the future and a safe environment for civil servants and citizens. Nice assignment from BAM.
