Nearly 250-year-old Windmill lifted by 80 cm
At the end of August, the nearly 250-year-old grain mill in Waardenburg quite literally reached a historic new height. To ensure the mill can continue to catch sufficient wind following the dyke reinforcement works, Bresser’s specialists jacked up the 280-ton heritage structure. This remarkable project uniquely combines engineering expertise, heritage preservation, and flood protection.
