Jacking of a boathouse for flood protection

In Kropswolde, the Netherlands, Bresser carried out the complete jacking of a boathouse. To improve protection against high water levels, it was necessary to raise the building by 650 mm.

Using specialized hydraulic jacking techniques, the boathouse was safely and carefully lifted to its new elevation. After the lifting operation, the structure could be supported at the increased height, providing the residents with improved protection against future flooding.

This project demonstrates how Bresser can adapt existing buildings to changing environmental conditions while preserving the original structure.
